COURSE DEFINITIONThis course provides students with a critical approach to the study of popular culture. It explores social, political, historical, and economic contexts of popular culture through various media forms such as film, television, music, video games, the Internet, and fashion, to understand how the production and consumption of popular culture shapes and is shaped by ideologies.
