At the end of this course, the students; 1) Distinguish the strategic approach to human resources from the traditional functional approach. 2) Understand the relationship of HR strategy with overall corporate strategy. 3) Understand the strategic role of HR functions (job analysis, recruitment and selection, training, performance appraisal, compensation) 4) Know how to actualize human resource policies and take advantage of competition.
