LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Learn about new communication tools, uses of these tools and areas of their influence. 2) Analyze the impact power of new communication tools on social issues. 3) Analyze the new social movements and their role in social issues.

COURSE DEFINITION	The aim of this course is to discuss the meaning, importance, scope and effects of digital activism as a new social movement within the scope of new media studies.
