General Information

Department of International Finance and Banking is a 4-year bachelor's degree programme. Courses and their contents are selected and arranged to provide students with adequate professional qualifications and management skills. In the first two years of the programme, students take foundational courses. In the final two years of the programme students take Monetary Theory and Policy, Banking Law, Capital Markets, Banking Operations, International Financial Markets, Credit Policy and Evaluation, Risk Management in Banking, Central Bank and Bank Accounting Courses. Since the department considers work experience very important, students have to complete summer training for 30 working days and internship for at least 400 working hours. In this context, the majority of professional courses are delivered with contributions from experts working at the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye, the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency, the Capital Markets Board, public and private banks, and other financial institutions.
