General Information
Baskent University Adana Health Services Vocational School Physiotherapy program aims to train allied health staff whose deficiency is felt intensely in Physical Therapy Rehabilitation clinics, special branch centers and especially SPA/thermal facilities. It has started education at the associate degree level in the 2008-2009 academic year. 56 students are admitted to the program this year. The language of instruction in the program is Turkish. Students are selected by YKS (Yükseköğretim Kurumları Sınavı, Higher Education Institutions Exam) conducted by the OSYM (Öğrenci Seçme ve Yerleştime Sınavı, Student Selection and Placement Center). Students must take and pass each compulsory course; at the same time, in order to graduate, the year required to provide a GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00. In addition, there is a summer internship obligation covering 30 working days for graduation.
