LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Describe leadership knowledge, skills and techniques in order to designed and manage towards a climbing party.
2) Find out outdoor activities contents for various group specializations.
3) Planning, monitoring and leading outdoor camp for the person and the group that participate basic outdoor activities course.

COURSE DEFINITIONAfter completing this course student will (be able to) Study subject in individual performance and climbing party for mountaneering that is one of the outdoor recreation activities, and to increase knowledge about advance skills in mountaineering topics.

1st Week Knowledge of climbing and wildernes travel area in Turkey and the World
2nd Week Organization policies of local, national and international level
3rd Week Study princibles of traning subjects which effect personal and group mountaineering performans, Study exercise physiology paterns which effect personal and group mountaineering performans,
4th Week Study social psychology patterns which effect personal and group mountaineering performans in climbing,
5th Week Atletic health and injury prevention in mountaineering,
6th Week Nutrition for mountaineers
7th Week Rural search and resque princibles and techniques,
8th Week Application of mountain search and resque techniques,
9th Week National and international mountaineering organization, National and international mountain guide proficiency,
10th Week Mid Term
11th Week Planning of climbing and wilderness travel party for bigeners by reflection of their knowledge and mountainering fundamentals.
12th Week Application of all techniques and knowledge and climbing the different mountain from various routes for 6 days.
13th Week Application of all techniques and knowledge and climbing the different mountain from various routes for 6 days.
14th Week Application of all techniques and knowledge and climbing the different mountain from various routes for 6 days.
