Graduation Requirements
1. Undergraduate program of Sport Sciences Departmant, involves transmission of excessive knowledge in basics/foundations of physical activity, exercise and sport. the first 3 years of undergraduate program involves courses that are related with biological, medical, psychological, educational, organisational and practical aspects of sports. Courses related with recreational tourism, recreational sport management, sport animation and coaching are also given during this period.
2. Students of Department of Sport Sciences that want to specialize in a sport branch and become a trainer are obliged to take courses of specialization and coaching coursed in the sport branch they want to specialize at VII and VIII semesters. In order to take these courses the student should at least take a grade "B" for that sport courses. In this respect students complating Sport Sciences Department succesfully can received a "coaching trainin form" in the specialized sport branch from Ministry of Youth and Sport.
3. For the students who wants to have academic occupation, ellective project courses are provided in areas of Training and Movement Sciences, Psychosocial Aspects of Sport and Recreation.
4. In addition students have to complete at least 196 hours of field practice in each VII and VIII semesters and 30 days of summer field practice in summer following the VIth semester.
5. In order for the students to graduate from undergraduate program of Sport Sciences Department they should complete 240 ECTS. |
