LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Learn the basic concepts of motor development.
2) Learn models of child development, physical changes and factor effecting development.
3) Understand the phases of growth and motor development.
4) Analyze the research evidence related to motor development.
5) Use theoretical and empirical findings in practice.
6) Understand and apply theories of motor control.
7) Conceptual understanding of skills (conceptual model of human performance).
8) Understand the major principles that need to be considered in teaching motor skills.
9) Bridge the gap between theories and concepts of motor learning, performance and the practice of teaching and coaching.
10) Develop an understanding of human motor learning processes so as to build a strong.
