At the end of this course, the students; 1) Learn basic trekking and backpacking summer techniques. 2) Learn concept and skills in outdoor camping. 3) Acquire techniques for navigation and route finding. 4) Aware of wilderness risks and survival and participate outdoor party in various terrain to gain outdoor experience.

COURSE DEFINITION
This course contains introduction and concepts of trekking and backpacking, concepts and
features of wilderness, organization and planning of outdoor activities on the mountain,
concepts, techniques and equipments of trekking, concepts, techniques and equipments of
outdoor camping, navigation, wilderness risks and survival.
