Specific Admission Requirements
Post graduates of elementary mathematics education or secondary mathematics education programs and graduates of mathematics education, mathematics, or mathematics engineering undergraduate programs who have a masters degree in educational technologies can apply to the program (Post graduates of mathematics program or graduate of an engineering program who have a masters degree in mathematics education; graduates of economic and administrative sciences faculty who have a masters degree in mathematics education). Graduates of other programs can apply subject to scientific preparation program. Courses to be taken for the preparation program will be decided by the department.
In order to apply to PhD program, candidates must have an ALES (quantitative) or GRE or GMAT score which is determined by the institute.
To be accepted in a graduate program, candidates should have a certain English score which is determined by the institute. As a result, score record for one of YDS, e-YDS, KPDS, ÜDS or TOEFL IBT examinations must be handed over by the candidate.
Candidates also must be successful in the interview.

ALES Score: 55, 610 GRE, 450 GMAT

Master's Degree Graduation:
Those who have graduated from Mathematics Education or Secondary Mathematics Teaching master's programs of universities or Mathematics Education , Mathematics Department or Mathematics Engineering undergraduate programs and have a master's degree in Educational Technologies can apply to the program.
The applications of candidates who graduated from other master's programs will be evaluated in line with the opinion of the relevant department and scientific preparation will be applied if deemed appropriate.
Grade Point Average Requirement (if any):
50% of ALES score,
30% of the interview score,
20% of the diploma grade will be taken
*A candidate whose overall grade is below 65 out of 100 is considered unsuccessful.
**The GRE-GMAT equivalencies of ALES and the equivalencies of YDS, E-YDS, YÖKDİL exams with other foreign language exams will be made according to the decisions of YÖK, ÖSYM and the University Senate.
