Profile of the Programme
Established in the 1999-2000 academic year, the Department of Turkish Language and Literature offers a four-year undergraduate program leading to a B.A. degree. The program aims to raise Turcologists with skills to carry out scientific research and studies in academic and professional levels. It is designed to develop students' skills in critical thinking and problem-solving as well as to equip them with the kind of intercultural competence that will be suitable for a variety of professions.
As of the 2012-2013 academic year, the full-time academic staff of the program consist of 1 professor, 5 assistant professor, 1 lecturer and 3 research assistant.
