DERS TANIMI	Bu ders güncel Orta Doğu siyasetini devlet-toplum ilişkisi ve bölge devletleri arasındaki sorunlar bağlamında inceler. Dersin üç amacı vardır. Birincisi, öğrencilere günümüz Orta Dogu?sundaki devlet sisteminin ortaya çıkışını öğretmek. İkincisi, Arap-İsrail çatışmasının bölgeye etkilerini incelemek. Üçüncüsü, Orta Doğu'daki güncel sorunları, şehirleşme, siyasal İslami hareket, azınlıklar, Filistin sorunu ve Arap Baharı bağlamında incelemek.
