DERS TANIMI	SENG 131, temel seviyede akademik İngilizce dersidir. Bu ders okuma, yazma ve çalışma becerilerine odaklanır. Sözcük ve dilbilgisi çalışmaları tanıma ve üretim amaçları için ele alınmaktadır. Dil ve becerilerin gelişimine yönelik pratik, entegre bir şekilde yapılmaktadır. Akademik çalışmada ihtiyaç duyulan becerilerin geliştirilmesi için, çalışma becerileri üzerinde durulmaktadır. Yazma becerisi özellikle akademik paragraf üretimi düzeyinde ele alınmaktadır.
