Qualification Requirements and Regulations

Doctorate program is a minimum of 240 credits for students admitted with a master's degree with thesis and a minimum of seven courses, seminars, proficiency exam, thesis proposal and thesis study, provided that it is not less than twenty-one credits and a minimum of 60 ECTS credits in an academic year. It occurs. For students admitted with a bachelor's degree, it consists of at least 300 ECTS credits including 14 courses, seminars, proficiency exam, thesis proposal and thesis study with at least forty two credits.
The doctoral program is eight semesters, regardless of whether or not they have registered for each semester, starting from the semester in which the courses related to the program they are enrolled for, except for the time spent in scientific preparation, for those admitted with a master's degree with a thesis. The maximum completion period is fourteen semesters.
The maximum duration to successfully complete the credit courses required for the Ph.D. program is four semesters for those admitted with a master's degree with thesis and six semesters for those admitted with a bachelor's degree. Students who fail to complete their courses successfully or whose GPA is less than 2.70 out of 4 are dismissed from the University.
Students who successfully complete their courses, pass the proficiency exam, accept the thesis proposal, but fail to complete the thesis study until the end of the twelve or fourteen semesters specified in the first paragraph are dismissed.
