Profile of the Programme
Operating Room Technician; is a health official who provides assistance in such work as the preparation of the equipment used in the operating room for surgery, the provision of equipment for the surgical team, the making of the operating room suitable for surgery and the provision of practical support.
This program is one that has been established within Vocational Schools of Health in an attempt to have skilled technicians for the operation rooms widely available in our country.
The aim of the program is to educate operating room tehnicians capable of answering for the need for skilled technical staff.
