Profile of the Programme

The purpose of the Medical Genetics Doctorate Program is to train researchers who have extensive knowledge about genetic factors that play a role in the pathophysiology of genetic diseases. In addition, during the training, it is aimed to increase knowledge in the fields of molecular biology, cell biology, and epigenetics, and it is aimed to train researchers who can use this knowledge and related techniques in their research projects. Medical doctors and individuals who have master's degrees in basic or health sciences are accepted to the program. It is aimed to train researchers who can design, and conduct original scientific research, and also can analyze scientific data, and present them orally and in writing.
