Profile of the Programme
The main purpose of Secondary Mathematics Education is to train mathematics teachers who can teach with the help of modern teaching methods and who can use teaching Technologies. Creativity, problem solving, critical thinking innovativeness and leadership abilities of learners are aimed to be enhanced. The curriculum consist of courses, which range from mathematics content knowledge, pedagogical knowledge, educational background and mathematics teaching methods. The aim of the programme is not only to train Mathematics Teachers but also the academic staff for all universities. |
