Profile of the Programme

The Occupational Health and Safety Thesis Master Program encompasses many important issues relevant to the field such as risk assessments, accident site investigation, occupational illnesses/diseases, regulations regarding occupational health and safaty and principles of occupational health and safety. For the duration of the program, students are provided different courses that are in line with modern-day necessities in order for them to become experts in different fields of occupational health and safety. Our post-graduate curriculum is focused around the complex working areas present within the industrial and service industries, and the establishement of the continuous improvement cycle of evaluating such working areas in terms of health and safety, and the planning-implementation-feedback of corrective-preventive activities. The program trains individuals competent in the field of occupational health and safety with enhanced managerial skills, posessing analytical and system-oriented thinking capabilities that are able to examine and improve systems. With the guidance of advisors that are experts in their field, the theoretical and applied studies of thesis? are transformed into scientific publications in the international platforms and are published in international indices (i.e. Science Citation Index). One of the priority objectives of the program is for our graduates to become experts in the field of occupational health and safety that are able to follow and apply the developments in their field, as well as play important roles in contributing to occupational health and safety implementations.
