Profile of the Programme
Master in Medical Genetics with Thesis program covers theoretical and practical courses which enable the students to gain the knowledge of the factors that play roles in the pathophysiology of the genetic diseases, and also enable the students to gain the methods of access to information related with medical genetics. Compulsory and elective courses are given at the first and second semesters of the education, and master thesis is carried out at the third and fourth semesters. The program is conducted by the contribution of the Faculty of Medicine Department of Medical Genetics and Transplantation and Gene Sciences Institute. These departments share their infrastructures and human resources to carry out the program. In addition to these departments, physical and academic infrastructures of the Adana Application and Research Center Department of Medical Genetics are utilized to support the program. The language of instruction is 70% Turkish, and 30% English. |
