Key Learning Outcomes

  • To design lesson plans using different teaching methods and techniques, taking into account the developmental characteristics and individual differences of the group they teach in the subject area they teach, and implements them in a way that ensures student development.
  • To determine teaching methods and techniques appropriate to the group they teach, and use appropriate methods and techniques effectively to improve learning.
  • To develop proficiency in the subject area they teach at the K12 level and in other groups with different characteristics (joined class, disadvantaged, homogeneous, heterogeneous, etc.) and design a program by effectively matching the goals they try to develop in students with the subject area and teach accordingly.
  • To develop appropriate measurement tools that cover the teaching plan designed and provide feedback on learning.
  • Based on criterion-based evaluation in classroom measurement and evaluation approaches, to contribute to individual and professional development by providing feedback to itself and its students regarding the level of achievement of the achievements they aim to develop.
  • To ensure the active participation of students in the lesson by creating a disciplinary environment in the classroom by using teaching methods and techniques appropriate to the development levels of the students and the characteristics of the group.
  • To evaluate highly valid research reports on general problems related to the field, make inferences from these reports, and develop solution strategies to the problems encountered in the field based on the research results.
  • To use their lifelong learning skills, they evaluate research-based developments in their field with a critical approach and effectively transfer them to their institution.
  • To propose defensible, highly valid research questions for the problems they encounter in their work environment, design the research, collect and analyze data, and develop solutions to the problems based on the results.
  • To act in accordance with ethical principles and principles in their individual and group studies related to their profession and in the research initiatives they plan to carry out and implement the processes required to be carried out within the scope of ethical principles and principles accurately and completely.
  • To communicate positively, efficiently and effectively in accordance with people's cultural values by using technology and language correctly in lessons, presentations and interactions with different groups and individuals.
  • To follow the information in the field and communicate with colleagues by using English at least at the European Language Portfolio B1 level.
