Key Learning Outcomes

  • Sufficient knowledge of the issues specific to mathematics, natural and applied sciences, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering; ability to use the theoretical and practical knowledge in these areas for complex engineering problems.
  • Ability for detecting, identifying, formulating and solving the complex engineering problems; ability for selecting and applying the appropriate analysis and modelling methods for this purpose.
  • Ability to design a complex system, process, device or product under the realistic constraints and conditions to meet specific needs; ability to apply the modern design methods for this purpose.
  • Ability to develop, select and use the modern techniques and tools necessary for analysing and solving the complex problems encountered in the engineering applications; ability to use information technologies effectively.
  • Ability for designing experiments, running experiments, data acquisition, analysing and evaluating results, for the investigating the complex engineering problems or specific research topics of Electrical and Electronics Engineering discipline.
  • Ability to work effectively in the interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary teams; ability to work individually.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Turkish, both in oral and written format; at least one foreign language knowledge; ability to write effective reports, understand written reports, to prepare design and production reports, to make effective presentations, to give and receive clear and understandable instructions.
  • The awareness of the need for lifelong learning; ability to access information; keep track of the developments in science and technology and to renew himself continuously.
  • To act in accordance to the ethical rules, the consciousness of professional and ethical responsibility; knowledge about the standards used in the engineering applications.
  • The knowledge on applications in business life, such as project management, risk management and change management; the awareness of the entrepreneurship and innovation; the knowledge about the sustainable development.
  • The knowledge about the effects of the engineering applications on the health, environment and safety in the universal and societal scopes and the problems of era reflected to the engineering field; the awareness about the legal consequences of the engineering solutions.
