Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
A wide variety of assessment methods are applied in the program, such as quiz (s), midterm (s), homework (s), exercise (s), project (s), practical work (s) and final exam. Assessment methods may include classic test (s), multiple-choice test (s), homework (s), performance reviews, and product evaluations. In order to graduate from the program, the minimum GPA must be 2.50. The grade of a course is formed by evaluating the criteria mentioned above and given in letters. Within the scope of the distance education procedures and principles of the Higher Education Council, at least 80% of the measurement and evaluation activities of the courses in the program are carried out in the form of supervised exams / presentations. The student has to repeat the courses he failed or take the courses that are accepted as equivalent by the relevant institute management board. (E) grade; It is a temporary grade given to students who cannot complete the necessary studies for the course or cannot take the final exam due to the reasons stated in Article 25. (Y) grade; It is given to students who are successful in thesis, term project and seminar courses. (Z) grade; It is given to students who fail the thesis, term project and seminar courses. Students who get (Y) and (Z) grades from the Master's Thesis II course repeat these courses until their graduation is decided by the relevant administrative board. The (F1) grade is given to students who are unsuccessful despite attending the course, and (F2) grade is given to students who are considered unsuccessful in that course due to absenteeism.
