At the end of this course, the students; 1) Learning the basics of the theory of Markov chains 2) Learning the Little formulation and applications 3) an ability to analyze and identify the models and the status of Markov chains

COURSE DEFINITION | Characteristics of queuing systems, birth and death processes. Single or multi-service queuing models with or without Markov property (M/M/1, M/M/c, G/M/c, M/G/1). Steady-state analysis. The optimal control of queues. Queue Networks. The applications of queuing theory on Manufacturing and computer systems.
