At the end of this course, the students; 1) Know and explain therapeutic recreation. 2) Know and explain how recreation helps to eliminate human discomforts. 3) Know and explain principles of treatment purpose recreation. 4) Know and explain methods and tools of treatment purpose recreation. 5) Know and explain how to use recreational activities for treatment purpose.

COURSE DEFINITION | Includes repetition of history of therapeutic recreation and its future appearance and determination of meeting techniques used for special groups. Supporting systems and used terminology at therapeutic recreation services. Application of some therapeutic recreation methods such as program conception and evaluation. Techniques and tools that are used in different therapeutic recreation areas. |
