At the end of this course, the students; 1) Grasp the significance of reaching reliable and contemporary information for domestic and international politics. Learn the ways and methods to acquire this information. 2) Have extensive information on the role and function of state inteligence in the process of the formation of state policies in international relations and public administration. 3) Acquire knowledge about the structure, organization, properties and legal framework of the intelligence systems and the needs for effective inteligence system.

COURSE DEFINITION
The objective of this course is to examine the development of the concept and sector of intelligence through a comparative and historical perspective and to discuss the effects and importance of intelligence over decision-making process in foreign policy through case studies.
