1) Students are informed and guided on preventive and corrective legal norms.
2) Subject will be examined with its international law and domestic law contexts, and when necessary, will cover also comparative examples.

COURSE DEFINITIONTerrorism is one of most important risks and threats that adversely affect internal security of countries. In countering terrorism, having a correctly understood and applied legal rules will make the efforts more effective and will make successes more sustainable. Aim of this course is to inform and guide the students on preventive and corrective legal norms. Subject will be examined with its international law and domestic law contexts, and when necessary, will cover also comparative examples. Course will conclude with a brain-storming session with the students as participants.

3rd Week Countering Terrorism and Law.
4th Week Intelligence activity and law.
5th Week Law enforcement activity and law.
6th Week Support by the Armed Forces and Law.
7th Week Mid-Term Exam.
8th Week Prosecution of terror crimes.
9th Week Extradition of terror criminals.
10th Week Human rights law.
11th Week Freedom of press.
12th Week Freedom of association.
13th Week Freedom of assembly and demonstration.
14th Week Brain-storming: Countering terrorism and law.
