LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT |
At the end of this course, the students; 1) Know the need for change and the coersion of environment on organization. 2) Can determine the areas of the organization where the resistance for change is occur and use the solution techniques. 3) Know the methods to diagnose the organizational environment 4) Know the intervention methods and consultancy processes 5) Know that organization development is a socio-technical system 6) Know the methods to terminate the consultant-organization relationship in the post-intervention period.

COURSE DEFINITION | In order to survive and respond to the rapidly changing environment, organizations have to develop their structure, technology, human resources, and objectives. A planned change/development is necessary in terms of organizational behaviour and designs. This course examines the strategies, intervention techniques, and implementation of planned change/development in organizations. |
