At the end of this course, the students; 1) Gains knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts and practices. 2) Explain the principles of lean production. 3) Understands the concepts of just-in-time production, flexible manufacturing and group technology. 4) Applies lean production tools and methods to real life problems. 5) Can carry out restructuring activities for lean production.
