At the end of this course, the students; 1) will be able to acquire skills necessary for evaluating coursebooks and language teaching materials in current textbooks 2) will be able to evaluate the appropriacy of materials with regard to the target audience and adapt them accordingly 3) will be able to examine the current approaches in material development 4) will be able to learn the approaches and techniques of materials selection, evaluation, adaptation and development

COURSE DEFINITION
This course aims at enabling students to evaluate, adapt and develop materials in foreign language teaching. It also aims at equipping students with the necessary skills to evaluate coursebooks.
