COURSE DEFINITIONIn this course, children's mother tongue acquisition is examined in detail. Sound and word development, development of listening and speaking skills, grammar development and general mother tongue acquisition stages in children are examined in the light of the latest scientific findings and compared with foreign language acquisition processes. The course also examines the effects of congenital bilingualism and congenital hearing impairment on mother tongue acquisition.
