At the end of this course, the students; 1) Determines method knowledge at a level to follow the steps of a scientific research. 2) Gain the knowledge of developing a measurement tool to be used for measurement and evaluation purposes. 3) Can express the data obtained from a scientific research numerically by means of statistical programs. 4) Has the ability to use the library and online databases to manage his scientific research. 5) Will be able to analyze a scientific research by considering ethical rules. 6) Can express the results of his scientific research in accordance with the APA style.

COURSE DEFINITION
Quantitative Research Methods I course, students learn the process of scientific research and their corresponding applications. Scientific research to follow steps and guidelines used for doing research and writing research reports, the skills required to make research proposals, literature search, sample selection, experimental design, surveys, case studies and longitudinal studies are the main topics of the course.
