LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Learn basic subject of social psychology,
2) Learn the usage of films in social, political, cultural and individual contexts,
3) Will be albe to analyse films by using the basic themes of social psychology,
4) Know the different usages of social psychological themes in films.

COURSE DEFINITIONSocial perception, social cognition, attitude and attitude changes, the self, aggression, obedience, social influence, prejudice and interpersonal relations are among the basic study areas of social psychology. Within the scope of this course, the basic themes of social psychology will be discussed via films directly or indirectly related to the mentioned themes.
