At the end of this course, the students; 1) Comprehend the theory and practices of music and media studies that require technical and expertise, 2) Understand the basic production logic of this cycle, which turns into "cinema, advertisement, image, content production, consumption and reproduction" in the media-music interaction that emerged in the post-capitalist-post-modern and post-industrial era.

COURSE DEFINITION
The media shapes the production, distribution and consumption of music. In mass production and aestheticization, the relationship between music and media is examined. The analysis of music and media studies is made specifically from production, reception, reproduction and consumption processes. Media and music interaction is handled in a psychological, sociological, communicative and aesthetic dimension. Applications made in the field of current media and music are discussed. Developing technology, theory and applications, the internet and the developments in communication tools are also examined. Analysis of music and media is explored from various perspectives, including artistic, industrial, and cultural dimensions.
