COURSE DEFINITIONMyths and mythologies are important instruments that construct and give meaning to reality. Just as they are not independent of ideology, they cannot be isolated from time and space. What we call mythology is actually a way of seeing that has been the property of societies. As a matter of fact, it can be mentioned that the distinctive features of societies based on their way of seeing can be mentioned in the fields of art and design. The aim of the course is to introduce these ways of seeing in terms of mythologies and to transfer information that will enable them to interpret their effects on art/design products.
