COURSE DEFINITION
The aim of the course is to help students explore the techniques of research, critical thinking, brainstorming and improvisation in the fields of visual arts and/or visual communication design; to experience the processes of the transformation of an abstract idea into a design product / work of art.
In the context of the course, methods that will reveal original thoughts and creative ideas will be learned and applied. Binary association, metaphor, symbol, allegory, research, observation, experimentation and improvisation, creating process notebooks, creating mind-concept maps are some of them.
Students are responsible for preparing projects in which they will theoretically and practically experience the processes related to the transformation of abstract ideas into works of art/design products.
