LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Competence of visual communication and self expression 2) Competence of working within a specified concept and limits 3) Competence of transmitting message by means of illustration in visual communication

COURSE DEFINITION	Message transferring by illustration, methods and concepts in visual communication; the use of drawing and painting techniques together, creation of unique visual expression with basic aesthetic principles and graphics tools; rendering formats which used as applied in advertising, editorial, and various other forms of print media types.
COURSE CONTENTS	WEEK TOPICS 1st Week Introduction of the course 2nd Week Discussion on the poject and original drawing 3rd Week What is creating a new character? 4th Week What is visiual story telling, choosing the important scenes 5th Week Putting characters in space. Importance of finding right angles to support some feelins in the story. 6th Week Using colour. 7th Week Word flow in the story combinin text and picture 8th Week Midterm 9th Week Transfering the drawings on digital 10th Week Mixing differnent images in drawings and applying some effects 11th Week Designing and gathering the scenes. 12th Week Midterm 13th Week Designing and presenting the story for exhibition. 14th Week Evaluation before presentation
