COURSE DEFINITIONThis course will mainly focus on the function of the Central Bank. Therefore, accordingly, it is handled as related to monetary policy. In other words, it will be a job for the central banks that do not own the economy, especially the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TC), to create money and control money and inflation. Next, issues related to the economy, the real area, the Treasury and the outside world will be discussed. Markets, which are one of the instruments of monetary policy implementations specific to the CBRT, will be introduced.

2nd Week Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (Foundation, history and purposes)
3rd Week Duties and Authorities, Responsibilities - Structure, Organs and Organization Chart of the CBRT - Banknote / Mint and Stamp Printing House / Independence
4th Week Central Bank Balance Sheet Analysis and Interpretation
5th Week Monetary Policy Tools/ Principles of the money supply / In short, money creation by the central bank
6th Week Monetary Policy history/ In summary, Anti-Inflation Policies
7th Week Central Bank Markets
8th Week Midterm
9th Week Clearing House Function and Operation/ EFT and ESTS Systems
10th Week Treasury - MB relationship (In short, financing the budget deficit, seigniorage)
11th Week Financial sector in Turkey
12th Week Exchange rate policies and CB foreign exchange markets
