LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Can define the fields of activity of the bank included in the Banking Law No. 5411
2) Understand the place and importance of deposits within the bank's foreign resources and knows the practices regarding deposits.
3) Define the basic concepts related to loans and knows how to apply them. Explain the factors affecting loan pricing.
4) Can define money transfer and payment systems.
5) Gain knowledge about commercial paper-based transactions in banks, wealth management and custody services, and financial investment services.
6) Masters electronic banking and bank card applications.
7) Have knowledge about Leasing, Factoring, Forfaiting and insurance transactions.
8) Have knowledge of market making system and application.

COURSE DEFINITIONThis course covers the determination and definition of banking operations in branches, opening a deposit account, loans and types of loans, discounting procedures, cheque procedures, bill of acceptance, procedures for real-estates loans, opening and closing current accounts of clients, credit cards, individual banking.
