LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Defines the norms in growth and development periods.
2) Evaluates health and well-being with a holistic approach.
3) Gain knowledge and skills to protect and improve health and well-being.
4) Recognizes the changes in the health status of individuals and families
5) Explain the role of nursing in achieving optimal health level of individuals and families.

COURSE DEFINITIONLifelong Health and Health Promotion course focuses on theories related to human and human development in the process of growth and development, assessment of physical, cognitive, emotional, psycho-social developmental characteristics and health optimal well-being, holistic assessment of common health problems specific to each period, and use of problem-solving methods.
