At the end of this course, the students; 1) Describe the clinical features of stroke after cerebrovascular problem. Define normal movement and function and compare with movement and function disorders seen in stroke. 2) Comprehend and apply basic and neurodevelopmental based measurement and evaluation methods used in stroke. 3) Apply current neurophysiological approaches and neurodevelopmental treatment (Bobath) approach to stroke at basic level.

COURSE DEFINITION
The content of this course is the definition of hemiplegia, the basic principles of adult Bobath neurophysiological approach, evaluation and treatment of hemiplegic patient according to Bobath approach, the evaluation of Jonstone and Brunnstrom methods as other neurophysiological approaches.
