LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) To be able to recognize the internal and surgical diseases
2) To be able to interpret and analyse the knowledge about the diseases
3) To be able to recognize, assess and identify pathophysiologic findings caused by diseases
4) To be able to transfer the theoretical knowledge gained into the clinical practice
5) To be able to recall theoretical knowledge related diseases in developing rehabilitation programs

COURSE DEFINITIONThe course review the related diseases in physical therapy, neurology, rheumatology, general surgery, gynecology, cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, pulmonary diseases, cardiology, psychiatry and orthopedics departments.

3rd Week Radiology and Anatomy, Radiological Imaging of Diseases
4th Week Hydrocephalus and its treatment, Spinal cord tumors, Intracranial tumors, Cranioserebral traumas, Surgical approach to disc hernias
5th Week Coronary artery disease, Heart valve diseases, Congenital heart disease, Heart failure
6th Week Radiological Imaging of Diseases
7th Week MIDTERM
8th Week Burn, Hand surgery, Wound healing
9th Week Muscle Relaxants
10th Week Corticosteroids
11th Week Drugs Used in Central Nervous System Diseases
