At the end of this course, the students; 1) To be able to define basic principles of first aid 2) To be able to assess immediately and appropriately in a situation that is required first aid providing safety of self and patient/injured person. 3) To be able to determine priority of a situation on person/ people who is required first aid providing safety of self and patient/ injured person. 4) To be able to determine first aid practice suitable for condition of patient- injured person 5) To be able to demonstrate practices related first aid on children.

COURSE DEFINITION
Principles of patient care, assessment of injured person, basic life support for adult and child, first aid in bleeding, injuries, shock, obstruction of airway, poisoning, animal bite and stings, loss of consciousness, burns, moving techniques of patients.
