LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) To be able to gain theoretical knowledge and practical skills about hot, cold, heat and light applications used in physiotherapy.
2) To be able to evaluate the patient before the treatment with heat-light agents and to plan the treatment.
3) To be able to apply patient-specific treatment approach and interpret treatment responses.

COURSE DEFINITIONThermotherapy, infrared, ultraviolet, laser, fluidotherapy and cryotherapy agents used in physiotherapy and rehabilitation, their physiological effects and application methods will be examined.
