1) To have knowledge about the concepts of health care and rehabilitation
2) To have basic information about the scope and stages of health services.
3) To have basic information about the organization and management of health services in Turkey
4) To have the capacity to interpret the role of physiotherapists in health care delivery system.

| COURSE DEFINITION | This course introduces basic concepts of health, health services and rehabilitation. In the content of the course several topics are discussed, like: health and diseases, types and delivery system of health services, health care from the classical therapy to the present day, relation between health care and health needs; the role and function of physical therapist in the health services delivery system; social policy and programs for disabled persons in Turkey and in other countries. |
