LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Know the concept of ethics, can establish the connection with the field of communication.
2) Become aware of the media system and structure underlying ethical problems.
3) Understand the difference between ethics and law, learn ethical principles in different fields of communication.

COURSE DEFINITIONThis course is an exploration of ethical theories and issues related to the mass media and other relevant forms of mass communication. The aim is to become familiar with various aspects of classical and contemporary ethical theory and how it may apply to various forms of communication. This course will strive to motivate students to critically and analytically think about standards that are germane to their personal and future professional lives.
