At the end of this course, the students; 1) Being able to diagnose and treat with professionalism, the patients with depression and generalised anxiety disorder which are amongst the common psychiatric disorders 2) Dispatch patients having schizophrenia, bipolar disorder which are amongst relatively rare psychiatric disorders for the diagnosis. 3) Being able to make the medical interventions with professionallism, in real patients with depression and generalised anxiety disorder which are amongst the common psychiatric disorders. 4) Dispatch patients professionally with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder for medical intervention.

The phase 6 students involved in outpatient clinic for 2 weeks according to their rotations.
COURSE DEFINITION
This course focuses on taking history, psychiatric examination,psychiatricdiagnosis, treatment and differential diagnosis in psychiatric disorders. Students, attend to patients? examinations and observe psychiatric interviews under supervision of residents and faculties.
COURSE CONTENTS
In psychiatry outpatient clinic, common psychiatric disorders? diagnosis, protection from, treatment and follow-up are tought.
