At the end of this course, the students; 1) Recognize common and important gynecological diseases, and manage their diagnostic processes and treatments on patient scenarios given 2) Recognize the normal pregnancy and birth and their frequently observed pathological conditions, monitor the pregnancy in its normal course on given patient samples, and manage the diagnosis and emergency treatment of common problems that may develop during the follow-up of the pregnant women on given patient scenarios 3) Recognize the important nephrological diseases common in adult and pediatric patients, and explain their diagnostic procedures and treatments for sample patients given 4) Recognize the important urological problems commonly observed in adult and pediatric patients, and explain their diagnostic algorithms and treatments on the patient examples given to them 5) Recognize the important macroscopic and microscopic pathological findings of gynecological, nephrological and urological diseases on the images given to them, and explain the basic development mechanisms of the same diseases 6) Explain the basic pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties of natural / synthetic agents affecting gonadal endocrine receptors and pharmacological agents used in the treatment of common gynecological, nephrological and urological diseases 7) Recognize the important imaging findings of gynecological, nephrological and urological diseases on the visuals given to them and explain the reasons why and which imaging methods are requested for diagnostic purposes of these conditions 8)

COURSE DEFINITION
The course which aims to present basic clinical (especially semiology), pathological and pharmacological information concerning the medical and surgical problems of the male and the female urogenital systems to Physician candidates who have already acquired basic morphological, physiological, molecular and microbiological knowledge throughout the preclinical period.
COURSE CONTENTS
Nephrological and urological problems of the childhood and adulthood, surgical problems during the pediatric age group, gynecological problems in adult women, normal pregnancy and pregnancy related problems and pathology and pharmacology related to these topics
