LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) will gain the ability to understand the questions and to answer positively-negatively. 2) will gain the ability to read Chinese texts. 3) will gain the ability to write the new Chinese characters. 4) are able to study 500 characters, to read 600 characters and to write 100 characters.

COURSE DEFINITION	1- Teaching general structure of the Chinese language and Chinese phonetics, trying to give information the basic knowledge about Chinese language to the students. 2- After the teaching of Chinese phonetics, doing exercises about asking questions and responding in Chinese, providing students with speaking Chinese. 3- Teaching grammer rules within daily language. 4- After Chinese phonetics has been comprehended by students, Chinese script writing will be taught.
COURSE CONTENTS	WEEK TOPICS 1st Week The texts which was taught before will be repeated and new texts will be studied. The studies of Chinese writing will be done. 2nd Week Texts about the titles below stated (Practical Chinese I, Texts 25-36) 3rd Week Good Morning 4th Week Have a Breakfast 5th Week Give a Ring 6th Week Secret 7th Week Which Ayşe? 8th Week I've Got a Headache 9th Week Colours 10th Week Study In The University 11th Week Final Exam 12th Week Writing a Letter 13th Week Buying a Gift / Giving a Present 14th Week Looking Up In The Dictionary
