LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1)
Can apply the basic concepts of magnetic rules, especially Maxwell's equations, to electrical machines.
2) Learns the basic working principles of power transformers.
3) Can apply electromechanical concepts to electrical machines.
4) Learns the basic concepts and application principles of DC machines.
5) Learns the basic concepts and application principles of AC induction machines.
6) Learns the basic concepts and application principles of AC synchronous machines.

COURSE DEFINITIONThis is the basic course that the fundamentals of electro-mechanical transformation is given to Electrical-Electronics Engineers. The course is prepared considering the subjects that students should learn about electrical machines at the undergraduate level. It also provides the basis for students wishing to continue postgraduate studies on electrical machines.
