LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT |
At the end of this course, the students; 1) Analyzes compound coupled BJT and FET amplifiers. 2) Learns and analyzes the operation of differential amplifier. 3) Determines and plots the frequency response of BJT and FET amplifiers. 4) Learns power amplifiers. 5) Analyzes feedback amplifiers. 6) Learns op-amp parameters and analyzes op-amp circuits. 7) Recognizes oscillator circuits. 8) Learns the basics of voltage sources and voltage regulator circuits. 9) Reinforces theoretical knowledge with experiments and gains individual working skills.

COURSE DEFINITION | Differential amplifiers, small wave properties, common and differential mode properties. Big/small signal analysis of differential amplifiers. Power amplifiers, frequency response analysis of amplifiers. Operational amplifiers and their analysis. Feedback concept, different feedback structures. Negative feedback structures and amplifiers. Positive feedback and oscillator circuits (oscillators). Power supplies and voltage regulator circuits. |
